    Chief Red Cloud 7-13-07

Week 10 update on Chief Red Cloud and color is starting to appear again. YAY!!!! I have one small band of red and then the rest will be white and light grey on white. YUCK! I can hardly contain the excitement I feel about that.
    .
I tried the Q-snaps out last week and guess what, I love em but I got the wrong size as a 11x17 is just way to bulky to handle. So I ordered a set of 11x11 from Down Sunshine Lane. YAY!!! I love shopping there, Amy is just the nicest.
    .
It's storming here again for the umpteenth time this week so I am shutting the system down. Hope all has a great weekend and a great stitching week.

I definitely agree with your YUCK. I can't even cheer you up by saying there's not much and it'll soon be over, because that area looks huge!

But see how fantastic it's going to look. Well worth all that hard work:o)

Just wanting to stop in and say Wow. Your piece is beautiful. Keep up the wonderful work. I can just feel your excitement about the white on white haha. It will all come together though so hang in there.

He is looking amazing. I do agree white and light grey on white YUCK! But I think it will be worth it in the end - not that it really helps when you are just starting to face all that work.

The Chief is looking really fantastic. I sympathize with your large area of white on white that you have yet to do. Just remember, one stitch at a time and the end will be so worth all your effort.

Can I give you my tip of how I deal with the grey / white combo?

Take a blue quilting pen - the one that washes out. Mark your Aida where you will be putting in Grey stitches, then all you need do after filling in the grey is to fill in white, quick and easy!

Chief Red Cloud is looking great!!
